Urban/Rural ReDesign 「場」の力のヴィジュアリゼーション
私たちの研究会では、これからの都市と地方の更新に際して、それぞれの場所の豊かさやその根源をなす地域の微文化を再確認し、それに基づいた新たな価値創造のために「デザイン」という能動的な分析・解決手法によって建築を包含した環境に対する「カタチ」を提案する。 建築やアーバンデザインは、人と関わる空間の形を形成している。これまで私たちは形がその社会の人的な要素、すなわちコミュニティとどのような関係にあるのかを考えてきた。一見つかみどころのないコミュニティという人的な集まりと一見人間とは関係のないように思われる物理的空間を占める形との関係はそれぞれ別々に形成されることは決してない。どのようなコミュニティの意識がどのような形を生み出すのか、またどのような形がコミュニティに作用しうるのかを 様々なプロジェクトを通して理解しようと試みている。通常目に見えないコミュニティの様相を「カタチ」としてヴィジュアライズし、その問題点を解こうと試みる。
Urban/Rural ReDesign Visualizing the Power of Place
Kobayashi Lab. reconsiders the micro-culture of a place which composes the base of the richness of the place in the process of renewing city and countryside, and proposes the ‘form’ of environment including architecture in order to create a new value of the place by the method of ‘design’ as positive and analytical methodology. Architecture and urban design form a space related to the people. We have tried to comprehend how a form affects the people and its community. Community which is not easily understood at once cannot be composed without any form which is not related to the people, and visa versa. We are trying to understand what kind of notion of community creates what kind of space, or what kind of form interacts to a community. We also try to visualize the invisible character of a community as a ‘form’.
